Lenses and Cleanses

I recently spent an afternoon looking through photo magazines at the new Lomography store in the Village. Here's some people I learned about from jpgmag.com. 

Clayton Cubitt - New Orleans raised photographer, mixes high art and low culture.  He did a whole series of portraits of people after Hurricane Katrina (that's a quick way to my heart!!) Here's a link to his blog with more on that great city. 

Loretta Lux - Stockholm photographer - her largest body of work is portraits of pale children with piercing eyes. 

Tadao Ando -  Japanese architect 

Egon Schiele - Knew about him from Prague art class.
